This Horizon Europe Cluster 6 topic funds business models for aggregating, pre-treating and adding value to under-used biomass, including food waste, and the development of at least 5 platforms connecting biomass suppliers with users. The scope calls for involving local communities and administrations, with attention to regions such as central-eastern Europe and Ukraine where biomass is less valorised today. It also covers digital tools for tracing and managing organic waste logistics. The budget is €7.0 million per project, with 2 projects expected, for €14 million in total.
